Model: Xiao Wen Ju

The model that has caught my eye over and over again during the AW12 shows was undoubtedly Xiao Wen Ju.
Her distinctive look which reminisces of Devon Aoki and a slight touch of Bjork, definately stood out for me.

Twisted Rock 'n' Roll

I found these images as I was randomly browsing, and whilst they're not my usual style they do seem rather fun to wear and easy to make. I wonder how many of you guys would consider this DIY.

Wet looking slicked back hair is the main hair inspiration for me for this Spring. I love this simple, spin-off from a hair classic. I suppose a more wearable approach to this style for me would be a side parting with a half slicked back hair look. Have you guys tried this style before?

Kasia Struss for Zara March 2012 Lookbook

Simple, clean cut yet feminine silhouette. I'm loving the prints and details in the Zara March 2012 Lookbook as presented by Kasia Struss, where she's looking effortlessly chic and cool. A very wearable collection with touches of masculinity and a rock edge look. I can definitely see myself picking up the tassel and studded pieces.

Sister by Sibling & Fred Butler

Sister by Sibling - Glitz and glam, mohair and pompoms. A very fun collection and typically the kind of stuff that catches my eye during Fashion Week.

Fred Butler - A more muted and toned down collection. With shades of pastels and marshmallows in structural origami-like pieces.

London Fashion Week so far

Here's a few of my favourites so far that I'd like to share with you guys..

Simone Rocha - Metallics, silver and plastic is always a win win for me.

McQ's hair - The bigger the better.

Peter Pilotto - I love the neon fluorescent glow mixing with the galaxy blue palette. The iridescent glow on the bombers gives off a very cyber vibe.

Meadham Kirchoff - Another crazy collection from the duo. Very carnival and disco-esque with all the glitter, feathers and tinsel.

Mary Katrantzou - The Queen of prints. Love her structural dress. Her recent collaboration with TOPSHOP was sold out immediately.

Jeremy Scott delivered a spectacular show during New York Fashion Week. I’m a fan of psychedelic colours and the show displayed an euphoria of rainbow colours. The collection is psychedelically eccentric, which reminisced a mix of the 60s and 90s. The colours and clash of materials is so garish and trashy, yet that is what I like about the collection.

From blue lips to psychedelic prints.. It’s so yummily trashy.
