oh Boy!

Chanel brings us a line “Boy CHANEL” which is inspired by a hunters’ cartridge bag. It holds close aesthetic to the classic Chanel bag; a simple, clean and bold, with the contrast of silver and gold metal.

“Chanel used men’s underwear to make dresses; she had this boyish attitude, in fact it is the very spirit of Chanel. She got it from Boy Capel, the great love of her life, which, incidentally, explains why the new bag is called the Boy Chanel.” Karl Lagerfield

It comes in three sizes, and will be available in Chanel boutiques from September 2011.

A close-up of the wooden platform lace-up shoes I wore the other day. Wanted to take these pictures before the heel/sole gets even more battered.

The lace-up detail, with the cut out heel made me fell in love with these babies at first sight.. These are now my staple footwear. It just adds the perfect touch to any maxi or palazzo pants.

Witchcraft

There’s something quite bewitching and seductive about these images. Spooky, but not quite. They hold a somewhat mysterious connotation for me. I’m captivated.
